What is Plasma Fibroblast?
Plasma Fibroblast is a new-era skin tightening technology.It’s a non-surgical solution to lift, tighten and reduce loose skin. Plasma Fibroblast works by placing the probe near to the skin. This produces an arc of plasma energy which then superficially evaporates and causes the immediate surrounding area of skin to contract and tighten giving your skin a rejuvenated, natural and more youthful appearance.
Plasma Fibroblast can reduce excess skin in areas that up until now often required surgury such as the upper and lower eyelid. It’s also hugely effective in treating crow’s feet, lines around the mouth, smoker’s lines, and superficial lines and loose skin commonly seen on the neck, décolletage and tummy.
During treatment a series of tiny brown spots are strategically placed on the area of concern. You will see an almost immediate effect as the skin tightenen’s and lifts. Rather than having to cut away excess skin with invasive cosmetic surgery Plasma Fibroblast treatment is a safer and effective alternative for those looking to tighten and lift the skin around the eye area. Using precisely applied energy to target superficial skin cells makes this treatment ideal for sensitive areas around the eyes. The typical procedure time for the eye area would be 30-60 minutes with a recovery time of 7-10 days. Results can last from 18 months to 3 years.
What can I expect during my treatment?
After a detailed consultation your with our therapist we will answer all of your questions, advise you as to your likely outcome and give you info for taking care of your skin post treatment.
On the day of your treatment, a numbing cream will be applied to make the treatment more comfortable. Your therapist will then create strategically placed micro-millimeter sized pulses of plasma to the area of concern which will create a small brown dot on the skin and immediately tighten the cells together. The results of your treatment will continue to improve for the up to 3 to 4 months post treatment.
How many treatments are required?
This will vary from person to person and may depend on the area being treated. Older, looser skin will require more than one session but generally between 2-3 sessions are recommended every 6-8 weeks although visible results can be seen after one treatment. This will be discussed at the initial consultation.
Is there any downtime?
This can vary from one person to another and also on the area to be treated. 5 to 10 days is generally expected. Recovery time for the eyes is generally 7 to 10 days, it is normal for the eyes to be swollen for the first 2 to 4 days.
It is recommended not to apply makeup until the little brown dots have fallen away.
What is the aftercare?
We provide you with a post treatment home care kit to keep your skin clean and safe while it recovers. It is essential not to pick the little brown dots but rather let them fall away naturally. Dry healing is best.
